If not for the headstock I would have guessed it was a photoshopped Carvin SB series

Like someone said, that's a Pavel. His shop is just in Haltom City, so about 30 minutes from you in Burleson. I have some basses on order from him currently. Great builder and nice guy.

Agreed, that is a sharp looking bass.

I also dig the one shown by the OP. Normally I'm not a fan of the single-cut look, but these are some good looking instruments.

it was the aesthetic of Martin's Basses that drew me in. Such a natural flowing line... Love it. You realize even more about them when you het a chance to play one. Pure art.
