single string headless bass bridge

Anyone knows if those ABM single string tuners are reliable and easy to use?

I bought a cheap headless tuner bridge on ebay last summer, I wasn't sure if I was going to like a headless bass. The bass turned out fine, but the bridge is now out of order. Another thing, the cheap bridge was very hard to tune, I had to use pliers!

Are all headless bridge that hard to tune?

No, they're not all like that, you just had a bad trip

ABM, is renowned as some of the best hardware to get AFAIK.

Is the "single" approach so that each piezo picks up more of it's own string and less of the others? Neat idea, but then your spacing isn't adjustable.
