The juxtaposition between bass and guitar on "Something" is kind of a bass solo. It's a beautiful bass line regardless.

I always play the lead intro to You Never Give Me Your Money as bass and guitar solo filler under the vox and piano. It just sounds like Paul and George are doing it in unison.

No, I do not think there was any "bass solos" done by him at least nothing I could find.
I even checked out Wing's stuff and found nothing I would consider a bass solo. Did anyone one seem him live if so can let us know if he did a solo on the bass?

I think the it is Back In The USSR that he played the drums too...when Ringo left for some weeks or days.
McCatney is multi talented!

I know he played the drum solo on The End from Abbey road. He also played drums on the Ballad of John and Yoko.

According to this book, it was Ringo's only drum solo for The Beatles.

According to the book "the love you make" by peter brown, who was with them and mentioned in the song the ballad of john and yoko, he says it was Paul. Just citing what I read.

I don't remember word by word what Brown said in his book, since I read it like 15 years ago. But, it was something to the effect that Ringo and Paul had a fall out over the solo and Ringo left. Paul, not knowing if Ringo was coming back, did the solo. When Ringo came back and heard it he knew it wasn't his, but let it go anyway.
Again, I am not telling this story word for word but what I remember reading.
