Well, I finally put the Sire U5 through its paces at Saturdays outdoor gig. Let me just say, this is a tone beast! I was able to dial in great sounds, very easily, for numerous different kinds of songs, from pop to hard rock. So effortless to glide up and down the neck, and those rolled edges are really sweet. Definitely keeping this one in rotation.

I am the lucky owner of an Ash V7 in Natural... I'm absolutely in love!

I say lucky because I won it on a Sweetwater contest, along with a 1 on 1 zoom call with Marcus Miller!!!!

How cool is that !!! I wouldn't know what to say or ask MM, so I hope you enjoyed it. I'd probably ask the same old questions he's been asked a million times. Did he give you any words of wisdom ? That bass is sweet !

I am still waiting on confirmation from the 1 on 1 meeting... it's supposed to be a lesson, but I'd rather learn life lessons from such a knowledgeable person... also I'd like my pickguard signed LOL!

I would love to buy a sire p7 in Ash, tobacco sunburst, maple fingerboard, four string. However, they don't seem to exist any place.

I've done a lot of research on the interwebs. Not necessarily the best thing to do, for example reading that sire may be going away.

My question is, I contacted the company to try and get a sense of when they might be filling orders again. I can't seem to get a response.

Anybody know anything?
