  3. Nice shots BH. Does anyone have a 5er yet. That's what I'm most interested in.

Sire Guitars social media manager told me "early" next year is the projected release. When I am updated, I will post it here.

  6. Thanks spoon I didn't realize they weren't out yet. I'm good for now anyway, I'll just muddle through with the basses I've got now. I don't need another it's just this thing called......that's right you gassed it. Ha

    Some more eye-candy for Kirk:

That last one is the M7 (5 string) prototype.

  8. In for GAS purposes! The M3 is the next bass on my list if the Canadian dollar ever turns around!

  11. Just found the M3s today
Looks pretty good, how do the necks feels? Similar to Ibanez Sound Gear?

Do they make a 5 string version?
    How is the build quality?

    What do these guitars weigh?

Are there any realistic sound clips up anywhere?

  13. This is the best I've found. The other Sire M3 vids on youtube are pretty worthless in terms of sound quality.

    Man I'm gassing hard.

Wow, that's a huge variety of tones. If it's light I think I'll be getting one.

My M3 clocks in at 8 pounds, not too bad at all. The V7s are quite a bit heavier (average a bit over 10, I think).

That's the "BR" (I call "Brick Red", but really means Brown, of course) finish. Got just enough red in it to make it interesting.

  17. also, how is the fretwork? can you dial in a low action by tweaking the setup to your liking , without taking it to a tech for fret filling business? i do my own setups but cannot take care of uneven frets

Those 2 pictures don't show the color difference very well. They have some with both in the same picture with the same lighting where it's easier to see. STR is definitely much more of an unnaturally bright cherry red, BR is a much more natural looking reddish brown.
