I'm brand new to the world of the six string, and I have some very preliminary, basic questions about design and sound. Some of the basses I've seen have a bolt-on neck (F-Bass BN-6, for example), and some have a set-neck, or even a thru-neck. I'm sure that this affects the instrument's sound, but I'm not sure in what way. Your expertise, as usual, would be greatly appreciated!
