To some around here, (looking right at @Chris Fitzgerald), I'm an unorganized slob, but I will not tolerate patch cords that are unnecessarily long. The sloppiness ...It drives me nutz.
Here is my smallest-ever DIY patch cord to connect my Fdeck output to my WalterWoods input.
Sometimes 6 inches is just right.

But it worked, Ric. I used that combination with a seven piece on Tuesday. And to make things even more bizarre the Genzler is 8ohms and the Wizzy is 4. The Magellan is switchable down to 2.8 and both cabs sounded great together. Sometimes the thing to do is suck it and see (hear). Time for a spot of empiricism over theory.

Roger,
My theroy is that the Magellan’s tweeter array gives you the definition and the Wizzy adds some low end. Just a theroy, however.
And I think that’s valid. The ‘middiness’ of the Wizzy seems to complement the Genzler Array. I’ve never felt short of low notes, it’s the mids that serve the bass well. My HPF is most times turned up to 140.
