"Slick Fingers" fingering assistance.

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to keep your fingers nice and smooth or slick while playing. I've noticed that sometimes when playing, my finger will get hung up for a split sec on a string and may affect my timing.
My friend waaaayyyyy back in the day told me to run the tips of my fingers through my hair to collect some natural oils & it works ok. Just wondering if anyone uses any type of product to ensure some nice finger action. :hiding:

I have that effect when I played a lot my strings ... they kind of have dead skin or skin oil or perspiration ... so they became tacky and a little dead sounding.

then there is two solution :
1- Boil the string or a bath in denatured alcohol
2- Buy a new set of strings
