Sly and the Family Compression

After consideration, I think i'm gonna try and build the Invalid Link Removed
Based on the Demeter, and judging by the schematic of both the Demeter and the Demented, should be almost identical.
I'm gonna try and save some room by just soldering in a 1K1 resistor instead of a trimpot, and I'll measure the resistance of my preferred Comp knob setting, and likely swap to a resistor to save even more room.
My favourite setting on the Demeter was Comp at 9 o'clock, and Level at unity, which was usually about 1:30, 2 o'clock.

Thoughts? Comments? Experiences? Anyone?

That is pretty much what my setting were. Right now I am using a different compressor cause I have constantly used the compulator at one time. Retired it. To noisy right now.

If you've the ability, could you measure the resistance on the pot with the Comp knob at 9 o'clock?
If i had a number, I could just put the resistor straight in place.
