Double Bass Small bass cab for practice

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to setup a decent practice rig in my apartment, of course I can't be too loud and space is an issue to, so what I'm looking for is a small bass cab that I can hook up my genz benz stm900 to. I've looked at combo amps and not really finding what I need, and plus I'd like to leverage being able to use the head because it's small and i can easily carry it between my apartment and jam space, and this way be able to retain the tone of the head for practice.

Is there a small bass cab that anyone would recomended, whether it's a very light weight 210 or 115, 112 etc. Again i just need it for a small apartment practice space, nothing to rattle the roof, but enough to have a good sound for my practice without upsetting the neighbours. I've seen this ampeg, but i haven't see it available in many places, but something like this would be ideal

Ummm, did you mean to post in the DOUBLE BASS side of the board? If so, why not practice without an amp?

That Ampeg cab only handles 200 watts as compared to 500 watts of your head and has been around awhile. Not that there is anything wrong with that but better cabs have been designed since they first put this together. Seems like you would do better to get a small 1-12 or 2-10 cab that will handle more power that you could use for both practice and gigs. The Berg cabs are pricy but very nice. The HD112 or lighter CN112 are very small cabs that sound great and could be used for both practice and gigs. There is a Berg thread that is pretty active under BG - Amps.
