I bought a Revsound 28 specifically to fit in the trunk of my Miata, which is quite small.

SVT and 810 fit in a Nissan Versa. luckily I've only had to do this a couple of times.

2011 Prius: GB 2x10 cab, GB Suttle 6.0/12T, 1x15 sealed cab, 3 gear bags, Shuttle 12.0 head, TC Thrust 500, 2 or 3 electric basses in gig bags, one line array top stick and one sub, WAV 4 EUB, two or three mic stands, personal powered monitor, me, and room for a passenger!

I don't own this car or rig anymore, but an Ampeg 8x10 cabinet can fit in a Kia Soul no problem.......

I love this!! I have a '15 Soul. It's such a perfect gigging person's vehicle. I actually find it very comfortable to sit in on long rides home.

I don't have pics (or the car anymore), but I used to put the following in a '06 Mazda 3 Hatchback:

Electric bass in a gig bag
Electric bass in a hard case
Amp head
Two 1x12 cabs
Upright
Small pedal board
cables/misc. gear case

And I could still put a person in the passenger seat if they weren't too tall. Full visability to all mirrors. Great car.

I used to drive my wife's old Honda Civic hatchback to gigs. The car was so basic. The only options it had was whether or not you wanted to drive it. I was able to fit my bass, an Eden XTL 4x10, and my amp in an SKB case. This was with the seat folded down. It was tight, didn't have A/C, but it worked out for many a years. And the benefit was being able to park that just about anywhere in the city. Even the tightest of spots behind clubs and in the alleyways.

I'm another Honda Fit owner, it'll easily fit anything i'm willing to schlep, plus room for a passenger. I also drive a Triumph TR6 in the summer, my bass only fits in the passenger seat, though a short scale would probably fit in the trunk. I don't think i could haul both my combo and the bass unless i took the passenger seat out completely.

Yup, Europe Jazz, Japan and US Fit. Unsure why... I guess in Japan it is a car that can "Fit" everything and in US, trying to target buyers to think "It's small but can Fit anything!" either way sadly in the US they aren't sold anymore as of now...

2020 was the last year they were imported into the US.

Are consistently the tops of compact cars for trunk space. I have a Camry and love it for that reason.

I saw a post from 2009 talking about fitting rigs into small cars and pictures being shared, and I am generally curious to see in 2025 if anyone has updates or new setups with their small cars.

I really love cars like the Honda Fit, Civics (Today though the sedan is pretty big) or boxy cars fitting bass rigs.
If you have a small rig or doom or a 8x10, I love to see your small car rig fitting setup.

Hell if you have a big truck that still be cool to see!
I love to see how you fit it and what car you own - currently I have a HR-V which isn't imo a small car, maybe for American roads. Though it is still consider a subcompact.

I can manage to transport upright bass or up to 6x10 cabs just fine in my VW Polo GTI.

I cope and say that maybe they'll come back, with the gas prices, I feel like I been seeing more people around where I live sell off the more pricey SUV and keep their Fit or even change to it. But at the same time the Civic Hatchback (Which actually isn't that much wider than fit and is a bit less long length wise but still bigger than a fit ofc) seems to fit all the boxes for someone who wants good MPG with that hybrid. Here's to hoping on a pipe dream lol.

About 10 years ago, I had a Smart Car and I was able to fit a 3/4 size upright bass into it and able to close the rear hatch. I used to have pictures but they are gone now.

Too much trouble to take photos at the moment, but I have a 2022 Kia Niro EV sub-compact SUV, and the rig I have is purposely compact, a 21" scale bass in a gig bag with compartments to hold a guitar hanger clamp and tablet clamp and a cable (backup). A Phil Jones Bass Double Four Plus with a small powerbank, an iPad Pro 12.9 inch in a carry bag with a set of wireless pods, small screwdriver, charging cables and rechargeable 9v batteries. A folding stool with back, and an old lady shopping cart that folds flat and fits in on top of all my stuff. If I plan on bringing my Carvin MB15 combo amp, I fold down one passenger seat, and if I also bring the matching cabinet, I'll fold down the other passenger seat. We did have a '01 CR-V; after that car we got our first Fit (we had a '79 Accord LX hatchback, and a '91 Civic DX before getting the CR-V). My understanding of US Honda's thinking in regard to discontinuing the Fit here is to push people up to the HR-V. We looked at a new Civic hatchback before finding the'19 Fit, but one of several things I didn't care for was the super sloping rear hatch that limited the height of cargo that could be put in it.

My Fiat 500 fits upright, electric, amp, stand, me and nothing else. It’s great; I never have to give someone a ride home from the gig.

I’d never have expected an 8x10 to fit in there. I’m generally bringing a GK MB212-II with plenty of room around it.

(Mine is an automatic, but if you want to hear something that makes me sound older than I am, I learned to drive stick on a 1929 Model A that my dad had when I was in high school. No synchronized gears or any nice stuff like that.) (And, just to make me truly feel old, I just now realized that the Model A, when I was in high school, was younger than the ‘71 Alfa Romeo Spider I have in the garage is now (which I’ve not hauled a bass amp in). Sort of the same feeling I had the day I realized my 1982 reissue ‘57 Precision was older than a real ‘57 was when the reissue was made.)

I love Chevy HHRs. The blue one pictured is my second, I gave the red one to my son.

These cars are made for hauling gear. I've loaded it with PA gear, my Ashdown LB30n head and a ABM 6x10 cab, two basses and a lot of other equip.

Here's my old red HHR with my Upright and acoustic gig gear.

The upright's headstock fits perfectly between the seats.

I dig! For what it's worth, my kid (mid 20s) learned to drive a stick as a teenager. His current car (Camry) is an auto, but he's insisting on a manual for his next car...a hatchback for transporting HIS gear to gigs!

Sadly, I don't have any pictures, but years ago I had a MK3 Jetta that could swallow a double bass, a bass guitar in a case, a bag'o'wires and effects, and a 2x10 GK combo. Seats down, of course, but it all fit with the head of the upright coming out over the center console. Great car, miss that one.

I don't have any pics with gear in it (and I rarely even drive it to gigs), but I manage to fit myself, my wife, two basses (in gig bags), a backpack, and a pair of GR 2x10 cabs in my Beatle convertible - with room to spare! The convertible top really, really helps getting things in and out.
