Smoked a Hookah for the first time last night.

So, ya I am not really a smoker, but my friend had bought a hookah, and had some strawberry tobacco he wanted me to try. I figured what the heck.

So just wanted to say it was awesome. Great feeling too.

And YES it was tobacco, I am not into drugs or anything like that.

Just wanted to share.

The only time I smoked a hookah, was in the Shuq in Jerusalem. It was lovely. I'd do it here , but the condition of my lungs prohibits it.

My first time smoking a hookah was during a hippie phase I had where I just hung out with college hippies and they had a really nice one from Egypt. We mixed tobaccos so we had things like strawberry banana, peach and grape etc. and it was nice and sweet. Smooth too.

The guy I was hanging w/ had Strawberry, Peach, Mocha Latte, Pomengranite, Apple, Grape, Banana, Orange, Mint...the list goes on and on....

It was A LOT smother than I was expecting.

Used to smoke it ocassionally with friends when I was younger, cherry tobacco was the thing... Quitted smoking anything something like 2 years ago, though.

A guy I knew had one back in the '70s, and we tried it once. We poured some wine in it and smoked some black hash in it. Now, I'm not recommending it to anyone, it's illegal as all get out, and I don't want to get in trouble for it (even though it was over 30 years ago), but...

It's an interesting experience. It's got a classy vibe to it. I've only done it a couple times, tobbaaaccoooisssswackoooooo... etc. But fun every now and then. Tried it with the mint and the pineapple shisha. Didn't care for the pineapple, but the mint was bad ass.

I've done it a few times, when some friends were having a party and they had one, but I never could get the hang of flavored smoke. But hey, I gave it a try, can say I've done it, etc.

I really like it, a lot more than cigars. It sets a cool vibe, sharing a hookah and the accompanying conversation with a few friends is a great way to have a good time.

I have never heard of these Hookah things before in my life so I was expecting to see someone in here admitting to shooting a prossi in the face
