Smooth 45-105 String Identification

This may be a long shot; I just purchased an Alembic bass with a set of 45-105 strings and would like to figure out what they are. They're super smooth under the fingers and pliable. Pretty sure they are long scale. I compared them to a brand new set of DR Sunbeams, and these are even smoother, though they are well broken in.

Here are two pictures. Is there anything that would help identify these strings? They're pretty great!

What's the length of the E string from the ball end to the taper (end of full winding) at the tuner end?

The E string almost appears to taper twice at the nut end. It is 37.75" from the beginning of the winding at the ball end to the blue #1 in the attached picture, and then another 1.375" from #1 to #2. The A string is 37.5" from ball end to the taper.

Not sure how much variation there is in DR's string manufacturing, but I may have solved the mystery. Here is the string in question compared with the E from an old set of Sunbeams:

It is 37.75" from the beginning of the winding at the ball end to the blue #1 in the attached picture...

DR "long scale" = 37.75" from ball end to the first taper, which is longer than the "long scale" by most manufacturers, which ranges between 36.75" and 37.25".

"Smooth and flexible" = Sunbeams. What you have is probably well-broken-in Sunbeams.
