Smoothest feeling (not sounding) roundwounds

I have GHS Pressurewounds.

I don't know what you people are smoking but they aren't (to me) all that smooth. Certainly not enough to hold them up as an icon of smoothness.

They're not a bad string as roundwounds go...but way over-rated on TB imo.

Actually just to be sure , I put them back on my Yamaha yesterday to see if I was overstating things.

To all who've mentioned DR Sunbeams. I've found Pure Blues to be smoother, warmer, deeper, punchier & longer lasting. More like a premium Sunbeam if you will.

Thanks for everyone’s replies. I’m in the U.K. and don’t think I can get GHS ballanced nickels here.
I did go through a very short stint with Elixirs and didn’t think about considering costed strings so I may do that.
Lots of other good suggestions for a short list, I’ll grab some stuff over the Xmas and new year break (from band stuff)and see what I like

I imagine they can be special ordered. I don't expect it will cost you more, you'll just have to wait a bit for them to arrive.
