SMV extorted by Spanish Border Patrol!

More importantly, can the driver be fined for this same "violation" in another member state during a routine inspection.

Keep ignoring what is written, that's the way you like it :hiding:

The driver got an official receipt for the charged fine. If any other policeman on any other EU country tries to fine him for the same violation he could show the receipt to avoid it.

There is no european law, but there are agreements between european countries for this matters.

What does this mean to the ones who believe that Vic was wrong.

This is from Marcus Millers own site.

The bus company that we hired the tour bus from has assumed the"responsibility for the charge and will have their lawyers argue it. They're confident they'll prevail.

Obviously Marcus has info that shows that some body definitely was in the wrong and it doesn't sound like drivers fault.

This thread seems to be reaching that point of no return, when no amount of heated arguing will make anyone change their already rock-solid opinions. So it kind of becomes pointless sound and fury, doesn't it?

I'm sure SMV themselves were never this worked up about the matter, and it happened to them.

...or it could be the bus company trying to save face.

Truth is, we don't know.

Give me a break! This was posted 4 or 5 pages ago!

Of course the're confident that they'll prevail. They may still be thinking that the replacement driver cannot be checked, as he said in the 1st video.

PLEASE!! READ THE WHOLE THREAD BEFORE POSTING.
