Snow! Lots of it!

Just thought I'd share a pretty picture I took of all the snow the UK, and Newcastle, has been getting.

The view outside my living room window, taken on my mobile phone.

Here the snow's not an issue- it's the temperatures. It's dropped down to -10 some places.

I'm actually glad that there is so little snow here- the last cold snap put me in hospital.

I have to walk to school in -20 to -30 degree Celsius (-4 to -32 Fahrenheit for our american friends) weather everyday!!

But I guess I'm fine with that, especially since it's still in the mid 20's up at the slopes

No such luck here! I live so close to college that I can walk it in 5-10 minutes.

Least we're not getting snowed in our houses and not being able to drive or do ANYTHING. I know people who live down south and they say that doing normal things like shopping is impossible.

I walk everywhere though, so massive amounts of snow wouldn't really affect me. Plus I'd get to make a snowman, a snowman with a chest compartment to store the vodka in.

That's actually a good idea...

We have a roof terrace on the flat, and people sometimes leave drinks and stuff there to keep cool. I went up there to get beer last night to find that someone's orange juice cartons had frozen solid.

Nice. Where are you located?

Boise Idaho- it's not like this all winters though, it can be pretty difficult to predict what the temperature will be. I've seen these conditions on Christmas Day before, but this year it was in the mid 10's and snowing on Christmas.
