Snow! Lots of it!

Here's outside my window in Niagara Falls. Took this a few years ago.

I plowed a meter of snow out of our patio today. For the second time this winter.

I wish I could show you a picture but my father burnt the camera bag while carrying it on a snowmobile.
 
Here in Australia some parts have had their hottest days on record.

In Tasmania (where I used to live) they had 41 degrees celsius, followed 24 hours later by 42.7 - hottest temp ever. My girlfriend has been working over the summer holidays in an aluminium plant where the temp is about 15 degrees above ambient air temp. That day she worked in 55 degree heat (about 130 fahrenheit) for 12 hours in full uniform and safety gear.

Yesterday Melbourne had their highest ever recorded temperature of 47 degrees, or around 116 fahrenheit.
