So about the chimp attack in Conn. It's getting creepy..

This morning, on the local rock station, 107 The Bone - Lamont and Tonelli had a parody song on (to Bob Marley's...) I Shot The Monkey.
and they used that sample from POTA in the song.
BTW, I don't know if this has been mentioned here, (probably was in news reports), but the lady lost her:
Eyes
Nose
and Jaw
That's just horrible.
The police who found her couldn't even tell if she was male or female.
Well I been workin out, yo. When my face graft(from a spider monkey- lol)is completely healed I'm joining a gym. That way this will never happen to me again. Man, it feels good to be so smart.

One of my friends in high school got his hand badly bitten (huge scar) by his brother's pet monkey. It was in a cage at the time but it was patiently waiting for him to come just close enough. . .

I can't have one of those here in New Jersey..
I also can't promise rampaging chimps but if you ever make it over here to the States, we'll go to the shooting range and you can experience the magnificence of what is the best bolt-action rifle ever invented by man

Why can't you have an SVT? Are the restrictions on owning semi automatic rifles in NJ?

Yeah, NJ is a little uppity with stuff like that, some semi-autos are ok, others are not. It's hard to keep track as it changes from time to time.
never owned or shot one. All I need are Enfields, a few blocks of ammo, a good target range and I'm a happy man.
No, we are Lee Enfield men round here!
I'd even like to try the much hated "Jungle Carbine" Enfield model, just to see if it's as bad as the troops said it was!
I'd shoot a chip with one of these too! Might be useful for hunting in their natural habitat!

Quoteing myself for the win but,Karabiner 98k just owns any other bold actions IMO,it was used for much a longer time then the Enfield (and most of the others) and it almost invaded the world,correct me if I'm wrong please.

Although the AK47 has well outlived that, if we are talking guns in general.
