It's probably for storing used kidney stones or something of that sort, I would probably fill it with shredded cheese (dollar store brand of course) and mail it to your favorite guitard.....
It's a case for a device that is used to hold a person's chest cavity and ribs open during open heart surgeries and the like. Medical equipment is made to standards that would make a world-class luthier blush, so I imagine it's very well made. I might try to make a pedalboard case with it, depending on the dimensions.
Might make a gnarly pedalboard. Put some blue LEDs underneath and make it glow.
put removable hinges on it, use the lid as a pedalboard and the bottom to carry stuff and as an amp riser.
oppp oppp, i already have an idea for the genre im thinking post-acid funk ska with a splash of djent and math rock!
so lets say you were gonna pay for this case its a surgical grade sanitation case how much would you pay for it?
Well you've gotten it dirty, so the sanitation portion is already out the window; I think a buck 2 fifty is fair.
Sure, just throw it on Craig's List for an even $300. I'm sure they'll be knocking down his door to buy it.
Mount it in a rack with plenty of space above and below. Put all kinds of color changing LED lights inside. Install an input and output jack in it that do absolutely nothing. Just wire them to send your signal straight through. Plug your bass into it and then go out of it into whatever is next in your chain. When someone asks what it is (and of course they will ask) just look at them with a blank stare and say....
"It is the secret to my amazing tone and that is all I can tell you. Just don't look directly at it for too long. Trust me".
Unless it is a really hot girl. Then simply say.....
"I designed it specifically to attract beautiful women like you. Turns out, it works. What's your name?"
I'm not even joking. If I had it (and was single) that is exactly what I would do. It would be a light show in a box that does exactly zero to my bass signal. It would be even better if you designed it to "chase" your bass signal (like some stage lights can be set to flash with the beat).
