Good to hear! Now you're a pro. There's always nervous anticipation, but that first one was the toughest. If you know your material, and look like you're into it, the audience will be your best friend. You will soon be able talk easily to your best friend...right?

Thanks you guys! I'll link you the video when my friend's done uploading it! But yeah, as soon as I got on stage and rang my first note, I was just locked in with the music- no fear, just limitless and free. I felt amazing afterwards!

Yeah, I am hoping to hear from on here about it.. maybe given advice for future performances and all this feedback.
First of all I think most TB here aren't really that much into metal (which is what I'd call the OP's set...) ... So probably already little sympathy here.
Reminds me very much of Cliff Burton solo's, tone wise.
I really like the fat full tone you get from your bass. What FX?
Must say I was pretty concerned how interesting you could make it with only bass, but it kind of rocks. Would still be better with a drummer and some extra instrument for melodic interest, but pretty suprised what you did there.
You pulled it of to keep it interesting for the most part.
You clearly have talent as a bass player.
Criticism wise: what I am missing as a more traditional bass enthousiast is more groove. Melodic-wise it's interesting but I think you can improve on the rhytmic aspect. I'm missing a steady groove and more rhytmic foundation.
But I'm no pro .

Thanks! And I know it's not the best I've done but as long as I enjoyed myself it doesn't matter, right? And I honestly would have loved a drummer (especially for the 2nd of half of "Pulling Teeth"), but I did my best to work with what I had. As for my FX, I used a Behringer Hellbabe Wah pedal and a DF-& Distortion Factory pedal. I did try my best at playing some of the clean stuff (some I wrote) but I think it definitely would have sounded better if another instrument was accompanied. I have to say, I'm perfectly content with my first song I played. Also, if you couldn't tell, I consider Cliff Burton a very huge influence on my playing.
