Bingo, this isn't a pro- or anti- MJ part to the thread. And I agree with Matticus, if it is legal and all the paperwork is in order, it shouldn't come into the equation, but who seriously thinks it wouldnt be considered?

Of course pot use still has its social stigma, however incorrect the cliches may be, but its not something that can be skirted. If you smoke herb, even for entirely legitimate reasons, be prepared to be viewed as a 'lazy stoner'. The only thing we can do to overcome the stereotype is not not let ourselves become the cliche (I know many potheads who are anything but the 'lazy stoner' type).
Even if the court overlooks jadys medicinal mj use, I am certain that his ex-wifes lawyer (if she has one) or a case worker will try to use that as a negative character assessment.

I must have a thick skin,...I either don't care or have never been exposed to stigmatization for smoking pot.
Thats the thing, you dont care yet. Nor do I for that matter. But for some people, like in jady's case, and/or dealing with the law, it can certainly work against them.

Tonight will be bitter-sweet at best, as much as I will love to see them I am hoping I can keep my mind off of everything that is going on and just enjoy my children.

Feeling a bit better now, it was really nice, they missed me a lot. My youngest kept asking me to have a sleepover, I told her to ask her mom.
