not sure if you bought an amp yet but i wanted to update you who are interested in my "low budget" purchase.
i got the carvin mb210 combo when it went on sale for $299 - still at that price though out of stock.
i played through the amp last night at one of my usual gigs - it was awesome!
i was scared it was a one-trick-pony for electric but i was way wrong.
i was able to get an awesome tone out of it with little fiddling of the eq - caveat - i used my fdeck in the chain.
but as an upright amp, it did surprisingly well. it also had plenty of power to fill the room without having to go direct.
i won't be giving up my AI Ten2 anytime soon but for bar gigs, it's a great match.
i also recommend the tweed option - so purdy!
