so the G&L mj5...

I had one come through, and it was very nice.

There was a smidge of noise which my customer asked me to address, and a little bit of shielding cured that. He'd previously had an MJ4 with the same issue, so it's nothing specific to the MJ5 per se. A little copper tape on the back of the pickups, a little more tape in the pickup cavities, short that stuff together and run it all to ground. Boom. No more noise.

Yeah? Well, then. That's pretty darn cool!

Guess I should order some for stock, eh? Much as it's hard for me to imagine I'm alone in the dealer world, I would also find it hard to believe that you're alone in the customer world. So I'll stick at least one MJ-5 in my February batch of G&L orders. If there's anything in particular you'd like to see spec-wise, let me know. No commitment required. I probably won't deck it out too much, but a little flair wouldn't hurt. :)
