I have tried to replace my VT Bass with so many things, and I keep coming back to it. Pardon the playing, but this is what mine sounds like:



Probably not a super popular tone on TB, but it works perfectly in this band.

Don't knock yourself, this is good stuff. Your singer is good too. Nice.

Just pulled the trigger on a v2. We'll see how this goes...currently exploring a b7k/VMT/Bassdrive trio going into my VR...hoping to get another gain perspective on my Ampeg.

Don't have one, don't want one. I've heard many people say they prefer the MXR DI+ to both the VT Bass and BDDI, and the MXR is probably what I'd lean towards IF I needed a DI, but couldn't/didn't bring an amp. But at this point, I don't really need any of it.
