So... why does everyone and their mother spell 'Squier' wrong?

Don't get a "rogue warrior" mixed up with a "rouge wearer"..... they are not often the same type... LOL

The reason that spelling and grammar matters to some people is that these people view the gift of language as more than a mere means of communication. Language, in the hands of one, has the ability to pass simple messages along to another. In the hands of another, it can convey abstract ideas in an understandable fashion. There is also an undeniable aesthetic perspective to this, as an elegant sentence structure adds a bit of extra authority and can even make the reading more enjoyable.
Despite using a second language, in a forum like this where the subjects include aesthetics, technicalities and sometimes even philosophy, I usually take care to express myself as correctly as possible because these subjects demand it. Language and music aren't that different, as is shown by their collision in poetry.

People do not know how to spelll because they are usually using acronyms or other short cuts while texting and sending emails. As a result, they are not learning how to spell or basic grammatical rules. People confuse "their", they're" and "there" all the time. They also misuse "here" and "hear". The easiest way to remember them is "their" is possessive and means it belongs to another person or persons. "They're" is a contraction meaning "they are", "there" refers to a place, "here" also refers to a place and "hear" refers to the sense of hearing. I don't understand why people have so much trouble with these. The one that really bothers me is when they spell probably as "prolly". The other one is "supposebly". The correct word is "supposedly".
So, I have to wonder ... if one's priorities preclude one from learning to spell properly....
We know what music sounds like if you play it the way you read it - when written correctly. Say for instance the bass line to Metallica's "Orion".
But, What would it sound like played the way you read it, written by someone who insist on misspelling it because "it doesn't matter".

I honestly don't think it's laziness. I have seen it too many times.
By the way, since we are discussing grammar, the highlighted word should be should be too not to.
Well, If you wanna get on the "correct everyone's grammar" wagon... you're statement should have read "should be" once not twice and had quotes like this...
