Soft Rock

Just wanted to say here that I got four pages into this thread and knew every song except five. And that I got drunk over a girl one night in 1982 and spraypainted the lyrics to I'm Not In Love on the outside of my old middle school gym. 32 years later, I learned the bass break to the song. Still one of my favorites. Now, I shall return to reading the thread and rem-i-nis-cing (daa da dunt dunt da dunt da dunt daaaa dunt daaaaaaaa...)

Here is the original version of Love Hurts by The Everly Brothers. A bit different than the Nazareth version.

aiiiieeeeee... I think I've heard this (original) version before, but the 50s style forced me to block it out of my memory... sorry, that era has no edge whatsoever outside what was eventually going to become R&B.

The Motels - Only The Lonely

The Motels - Suddenly Last Summer

Love both these tunes, and Shame On Me as well! Have actually covered Only The Lonely at a gig with a female singer. It was a lot of fun. A lot of the guys I've played with say there's no point in covering stuff that millions don't like, but I disagree.
