OK while I play bass on my tracks I'm primarily a guitarist and an acoustic one mainly. I've been through many pickups. My recent addition has been an Ehrlund EAP + Preamp which I bought directly from Goran Ehrlund in Sweden. I based my purchase on various forums (I'm active at Acoustic Guitar Forum and Gearslutz under the same name) including this one.
While I've tried and tried to get the EAP sounding good on my acoustic guitar (on it's own) it just hasn't worked out for me. I purchased it late 2010 and I've never gigged live with it. I combined it with a Sunrise magnetic pickup into many different preamps including the Ehrlund one. I need a pickup which I can successfully use even without the Magnetic pickup. This one (and many others, I've been through alot) is not for me. So while I'm reluctant and sad that it didn't work out for me I know it can find a good home with someone.
I paid SEK3300, which is roughly 355. It includes the EAP, Preamp, plenty of tack and the original silver case for the pickup. The cable is unmodified as I was only going to do that had I successfully installed the EAP internally (which obviously I didn't).
I'm looking for a price of 220 excl. shipment. I accept PayPal only thanks.
So if you want an almost new EAP + Preamp for your bass give me a shout
