a teacher came by with a student, he liked the bass...too big for the student though.
another guy interested but he's worried about a carved bass up high in the colorado mountains...low humidity.

The $2500 price he is asking is indeed very, very good for this bass. That's allmost 50% off of retail price, and it's allready set-up! My Willow is about the same age, gets played daily and keeps sounding better and better! This is a very good deal, a lot of bass for a little money.
Greetings! In the first photo, it looks like there is a bit of wear or rash on the edges of the back. Please comment or clarify. Will you ship this to me in Indiana? Regards, KJPbop
yes there is a bit of wear on the right side edges.
i was considering shipping for a few other people, a local shop said they had a box to ship it in. i'll have to check and make sure they still have it.

I hope you are able to sell your lovely bass soon. It's definitely a steal for a nice instrument.
On another note...the guy who keeps posting in the classifieds (krisandi) is supposedly a sixth grader who wants everyone to ship a bass to him. He wants everyone to send him photos and he's not focusing on any particular kind of bass (i.e. carved or ply or the make). Does anyone else smell a rat?

i think shipping would be around $185 or so, plus $40 i think a shop quoted for one of their boxes to ship it in...
if you're interested in shipping it then i could go to the shop and get the exact dimensions of the box and get a more accurate estimate of shipping costs.

Sure is a great looking bass, but wish i could try it, see how it feels. If it's ugly and sounds right I'll play it!! I played a Shen Rogeri 190 hybrid last week, was pretty nice. How would yours compare to that?
