I am! I find myself lowering the tone control more and more though. This pedal has a lot of high end avaiable. I got the tone at around 25%, and the contour around 60% or so. love it!

I am! I find myself lowering the tone control more and more though. This pedal has a lot of high end avaiable. I got the tone at around 25%, and the contour around 60% or so. love it!
I relented to pressure and bought one yesterday direct from SGFX. Will report back. I heard it on a recent JHS video and it just sounded godly on guitar. They all mentioned in the video that it would be amazing on bass. Between Lammchops vid and the JHS endorsement I just couldn't resist.
I caved too and got one last week. Haven't had a chance to play with it yet due to a slightly complicated living situation, but can't wait to try it out!
I just received mine the other day. Tested on my Ampeg 810 with a recently fixed speaker (flex seal liquid and toilet paper FTW) to put it thru the wringer. Haven't played with it too much but loving it so far.
Cool. I'm still waiting on shipping info from Solidgold. They are taking their sweet azz time.

Just got it. Not too impressed. Thought it would be better sounding. And the sliders have a lot of side to side play. Seem very weak and easily broken. Not a bad pedal, but not something people should buy new. Find a used one for cheap and you'll have a decent sounding muff. Wish I had resisted the temptation.
But is it crisp, with decent punchy bass? I'm doubting it as similar to a green Russian as I'd like
It's crisp for sure. How bassy it is is up for debate as I've only listened to it in headphones. Seems pretty bassy to me, but others might have a better idea.
Mine farted out on me. I think something happened with the gate but idk tbh. Everytime I plug it in(by itself), it sound's like my speakers are gonna blow up. I hadn't even had the chance to put it on my pedalboard to try with the band. I emailed them so we'll see what happens.
That sucks man. Sorry to hear it. I hate to say it but I've been getting so many duds lately (although not the Imperial Mk II. Mine works fine) that I have just put a moratorium on buying pedals for the time being.
