Some feedback wanted

Very cool, don't change a thing. :bassist:

I love instrumentals like that, not seventeen solos thrown together with one riff holding them togther.

I like some solo-filled instrumentals too, just very few in comparision to instrumentals that show development of a few melodies throughout the song, with very little soloing.

Great Work

thanks! I appreciate it!

Does no response mean you hate it and I suck? Seriously, I am a little disappointed in the 50+ veiws with only 1 response. You won't hurt my feelings, it's an experiment for me anyway.

I was going for a loose melody that gradually got tighter towards the end, only to get cutoff, sort of like a cliffhanger. The only istruments are 2 tracks of effected bass and one midi sound I found on emulator X 9]the chirpy thing). Oh well.

It's good. Listenable and lacking wankery. I'd only change the sound of the drums - something more "real" sounding, unless you're going for the cold/industrial vibe?
Cool SMASH thanks for listening! The drums are the best I could do with fruity loops. I wonder if I ran it through some tubes or something? I tried hitting the swing button but only got a very fake sounding swing effect.

Sounds cool. A common complaint about FL is the thinness of the sounds. Different samples might help on the drums.

But I dug the ambient background. Your bass tone is cool, w/ the envelope thingy. Nice.
thanks SuperMonkey! I guess I should be looking for better samples.

I really like it. :) I've actually listened to it a few times.

I didn't post before because I couldn't think of anything constructive to say. I do agree that the drums sounded a little thin, but that's not a big deal. Other than that...

Awesome, thanks my fellow Masshole!

You might try adding a touch of reverb and a pinch of distortion to the drums. That can help make digital drums sound more listenable.

I like it, but I think it's a bit meandering. It doesn't really feel like it's going anywhere. You might try changing some dynamics ups a bit, remove a part here and there, and bring them in later, or perhaps make the chord changes a little more apparent. This is an interesting sounding piece, but it does feel like something that is supposed to be in between two other, more substantial, songs.

It's got a cool Aphex Twin/Radiohead vibe that I'm digging. I think with a bit of tweaking it could be a song, instead of a bunch of sounds strung together. Overall, good stuff.
