it looks like it could be pretty awesome - particularly for me tube driving needs! And I'm hoping it sells for the same price as an LPB-1

RC- There is/was an EHX group buy thread going on in the classifieds as of a few days ago and the Mole was on the list. There were two prices: If 12 collective pedals were purchased, the Mole (iirc) was $33 and if only 6 items, $37 or something like that. Pretty cheap! The Voice Box was talking to me at $165-175 but I had to shut it up..

dang i missed that. i definitely woulda been on board for the mule

This is EHX, I mean I love EHX's stuff but I am always on the lookout for a curve ball when I comes to their ideas. And when have the names of their pedals ever made sense.

Exactly. EHX is known for wackiness, and to think that a pedal is a q-tron/bassballs hybrid just cause of its name is too obvious. Think of all their distortion/fuzz pedals. They all have Muff in the name, but many of them aren't based on a muff. They're a misleading bunch.

My question would then be why call it Q-Balls?

i ordered this little beauty on tuesday out of sheer curiosity really.

all in it cost around £35 delivered, and all i can say is that it sounds awesome!

it does exactly what it says on the tin - bass boost.

i tried it in a straight to DI situation last night, and it turned a meh sounding peavey international 5 string into a 'thumping you in the chest monster'

I shall be using it in my band's next show on sunday evening, and also through the 32k rig at my church gig on sunday morning.

Time will tell!
