I am familiar with Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress by The Hollies but don't know a song by The Kinks called Long Cool Woman. Is there a copy of this song anywhere. I would like to hear it.
Have you ever heard the original version of Evil Woman (Dont Play Your Games With Me) by Crow? It was a Top 20 U.S. hit in 1969.

Despite being Sabbath's first single, "Evil Woman" was excluded from Black Sabbath's debut album in the United States, being replaced by "Wicked World". The song was first officially released in the U.S. in 2002, on the compilation Symptom of the Universe: The Original Black Sabbath 1970-1978.

@Richland123. Whooops, your right. I've always just called the song "Long Cool Woman" and I did get the band wrong.
I'd heard that Evil Woman was a cover, but wasn't sure who did it originally. I first heard it in 75 while in Germany. I bought "We Sold Our Souls For Rock and Roll" there, and it was on that compilation album.
The N.A. version didn't have that song on it either.

When I bought the first U.S. Black Sabbath album, Evil Woman was not on it and I never knew they covered it either until many years later. I had the Crow version on a 45 record in 1969 but I like the Sabbath version too. Great song!
