Steve, my son LOVED the Kansas concert last Friday. He really likes a few songs and that was why he wanted to go with me, but after seeing them he became a serious fan. I put a lot more songs on his iPod last night.
We took my mom to dinner for Mother's Day last night and my son couldn't stop telling my dad about David Ragsdale on violin. My dad was an outstanding violinist when he was younger (he's 80 now and his arthritis makes it tough but he still plays) and he still remembers me playing Kansas non-stop when I was younger and living at home. They were one of the few bands I listened to that he was actually interested in, all because of Robby Steinhardt's violin work. Kind of cool to find out after all these years that my dad was a closet fan, too.
