Songs with octave below effect on bass

In absence of an organ… it is darn cool to play either Maybe I'm a Leo or Space Trucking by Deep Purple with an octave pedal (no, it's not played with one initially, but…).
I was thinking Sledgehammer but Big Time also, but I can't tell if that's an octave pedal or a synth. Sounds like an octave effect.
Though the coolest part of the song is when the bass breaks out without the octave.
I just listened through this in the background and there was lots of parts with octave down but I couldn't tell you which parts exactly. Guess you'll just have to listen to it all but it's so worth it:

You are correct about the Chapman stick on Big Time. I was talking about Sledgehammer.
I'm not completely confident but I think I hear an octave in the "Let's Dance" bass part. I always use a little when I cover it.
I always thought the bass during the verses was with octave (John Wetton with U.K. from the debut album - even if it's not octave, I think it's awesome with Bill Bruford & Allan Holdsworth!!!):
