"My Sharonna"...egads. What a terrible thing to have happen to a Rick.
And that insipid "Hey Mickey" song...Toni Basil.

This is going to eliminate a lot of songs but I can't stand any I-IV-V progression, with a shuffle rhythm and the bass playing a I-III-V-VI/bVII (you know who they are). I just can't get into it.
Wonderful Christmas Time - Paul McCartney.
Horrible song.
Just in case you are not sure. The actual name of the song is The Electric Boogie by Marcia Griffiths and the name of the dance is the Electric Slide.
Oh, sorry...didn't want to do the Jonas Brothers and Miley wrong.
But seriously, at least the aformentioned artists started as the talentless twits they are today. Green Day actually had some talent before they sold out to the Man. It's depressing, really. What a slab of rotten meat their last two albums have been.
I started to learn that song on bass when it first came out..and got most of it but threw in the towel on that one....I seem to want fried chicken everytime I hear that song and gain 5 lbs each time I hear it too! That "Chicken Fried" song needs to go away right now. Unfortunately for me I`m stuck in country music`s second capital and everyone`s ring tone just happens to currently be that.
+1 on Celine Dion, she makes my skin crawl![]()
OH lord! I have been told I sound like Karen Carpenter when I sing their songs...I grew up listening to her and used to sing a lot. I tend to get requests on karaoke nights to sing them! SO...advice: don't come see me sing or bring ear plugs when u do! hehe!Is there another version?
For me, anything Carpenters. They wrote really sappy but very catchy music... ICK!!!
eleon....
*faints*Anything by Metallica...
Where I live, every wannabe guitard in the city plays nothing but Metallica. I makes me wanna chew my own ears off...
I love Man of Constant Sorrow, and thats one of my all time favorite movies..
Ill go with anything coming out these days that gets airtime.. I mean, I love some of it, dont get me wrong.. But if I have to hear one more song about "Slapping them hoezz," Im going to blow a gasket.

I do agree with you on all those hip hop songs on slappin' hoez and shorty this and that...first of all I am NOT "shorty" lol!Freebird.
Sorry, but I haaaaaaate that song. It was fine the first 27 billion times, but then it started getting a wee bit old.
I remember a couple weeks after he passed, the band played it at the club..one of the guys in the band saw and knew why I was crying and I never heard them play it again! watch they do tonight!
now that I mentioned itI got my daughter a Kidz Bop CD thinking it was something she could listen to (shes 5) and now not only do I hate Kidz Bop with a passion but the original versions of the songs make me wanna puke....just awful
I used to play the heck out of it (Bom Bom Pow)...until my nine year old wanted me to play it over and over in the van....OH...how could I forget: "Boom Boom Pow" by the Black Eyed Peas. And "Soulja Boy." And "Hollaback Girl". I have two teenage girls so I get my share of hate-worthy songs on a daily basis.

want to toss CD in highway!hey I play the Pirate version on bass! or know how to that is...F.R.E.E. that spells free credit report dot com baby......
if my daughter sings that song one more time![]()
OH thank you! My mind went blank when trying to name the song...The Dobie Gray (cover by Uncle Kracker) song is actually called "Drift Away". We used to regularly add obscene lyrics to that song at my old work. So many things rhyme perfectly.
okay, been playing for two years now..self taught, but if I am not mistaken...you don't like what I play most of...country! I seem to remember my bf telling me I-IV-V's while I was playing country music. This is going to eliminate a lot of songs but I can't stand any I-IV-V progression, with a shuffle rhythm and the bass playing a I-III-V-VI/bVII (you know who they are). I just can't get into it.
