Songs You're Embarassed You Like ....

96 Tears - ? and the Mysterians

Despite the keyboard riff being a 20lb slab of pure cheese, I simply adore this song

Tighten Up - Archie Bell and the Drells

I don't care what any of my Rock & Roll buds say, the bass line alone makes this worth the price of admission. I'd even play it onstage if somebody would set me up with a Really skinny tie and a pair of pointy-toe boots :D

Cash On Delivery - Spinal Tap

Laugh all you want, it's so bad that it's good

I've also definitely got a soft spot for 'Traditional' tunes that have been covered by otherwise Heavy bands, a good example being A Mother's Lament as done by Cream

What is wrong with these people who can't comprehend that some songs maybe embarrassing for them to listen too. These are the same people who say when asked "what kind of style is your music? Oh we don't fit into categories." Take the song "I Ran" by Flock of Seagulls. Tell me that you wouldn't chuckle if someone told you that they liked that song. That's unless you think cheezy 80's music is hip and cool. Also how can these people not think its strange for a 30 something too like Jonas Brothers??????

So it isn't just a song, but I really like the Avril Levine concert on Palladia. I think she has a great live show. The band sounds great, and she's easy on the eyes as well - glittery pink eyes and all.

sure it'd be "strange," but being embarassed about BEING YOURSELF is really lame and indicates some sort of self-esteem issues.
