Songs You're Embarassed You Like ....

"Sneakernight" by Vanessa Hudgens. I first heard it while my kids were watching the Disney Channel. I ran into the living room to ask my daughter, "What the heck is that???" Absolutely brilliant, over-the-top groove, reminiscent of old Prince.

Anything by Ace of Bass- I absolutely love them for some extranged reason, "mm Bop" by Hansen, and anything off Cyndi Lauper's "She's so Unusual". All this coming from somebody who usually listens to nothing but old school funk (the real stuff). I'm so ashamed, please don't ban me!

Bruce Willis did an Album back in the late eighties or early nineties and he coveres the song "secret agent man" I thought it was pretty cool (had it on cassette) good luck finding a copy of that one!

I think that was a soundtrack from a short featurette called "the return of bruno" if I'm not mistaken. I may still have the cassette as well :D

I don't embarass very easily but my wife however is sometimes mortified by me when I dance around the house singing things like "OOps I did it again" or the ever annoying "Everybody dance now" or the like.

Even if i don't actually like something. If it's catchy enough it will stick with me and in some cases even grow on me!

It's kind of funny..

There's a band who won Star Search called Limited Warranty

I sincerely put their major label (flop) record out there as one of the top produced and executed..

I'd give my freakin eye teeth to play with their drummer - Jerry Brunskill.

Here's one of their singles

He was a genius at mixing the Linn Drum Machine with a Simmons SDS..

You can pick up their recently remastered CD on Ebay for a few bucks.

They were way more talented than Duran.. their material had planning, groove and a hook.

Now.. why is this embarrasing to a bunch of music guys? I'd rather listen to this than Jaco OR Marcus Miller (don't flame me)

There I confessed
