sound card

hey i was wondering if anyone has used the m-audio revolution 7.1 pci soundcard 24bit/96khz w\digital out

makin me a new comp but i dont know **** about soundcards and recording but i just want something that has some half decent sound quality and i read that m audio were good cards for recording and was wonderin if this particular card was any good.

It is my theory that it isn't too good for recording. Seems to be a very good sound card for gaming or home theatre use, though.
