Sound guy attempted to adjust my amp

I didn't read the entire thread.. but
If a soundman started tweaking knobs on my amp WITHOUT my permission, he's likely to lose those fingers.
And I'm a soundman too !!

First rule on ANY stage/venue.
If you don't know the person or haven't gotten permission..
DON'T TOUCH someone else's gear. :rage: Period !!!

I've never had a soundman adjust my amp himself. I will oblige EQ and volume requests up to a point.

Sound Guy:"Too much stage volume from the bass."
I turn it down.
SG: "Still too much stage volume from the bass."
I turn it down.
SG:"Sounds great."
"I can't hear it onstage. Can you put some through the monitor?"
SG: "How's that?" (it's a tinny whisper)
"I need way more than that."
SG: "That's all I've got."

Sigh.
