Source Audio Aftershock strange problem

I bought the pedal second-hand, and it behaved like this from the beginning.

I use Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 3 to power all my pedals. The switch on Aftershock doesn't seem to do anything - I turn it "on", the light comes on, but the pedal remains in bypass mode (only clean sound).
When I unplug the power jack from the pedal and plug it in again, it starts working normally.

Using the Neuro Desktop Editor I tried to do the following:
1. Cycled between true and buffered bypass
2. Cycled between setting that tells the pedal whether to turn on or remain in bypass model when it gets the power

Neither of the settings helped.
This is a minor annoyance, but if there's an easy fix, I'm all ears.

Thank you!!

Thanks for the help!
I will try it with 2A adapter, but that shouldn't be the reason I guess. The power supply has one 200mA output and the rest are 500mA. I also need to check whether the Aftershock gets the power from 200mA output (although even that is more than 150mA requirement).
