My Hub and Midi Mouse just came in this week, and I'm setting stuff up today in hopes of getting some cool presets saved before practice tomorrow. I haven't played with any if it at all yet, so please forgive the probably-noobish question: when using one of the saved presets, is there a way to switch everything off and go back to a clean signal that's not immediately obvious? Or is it necessary to have a clean, no-effects preset to switch to? I think the easiest way is going to just be to have the whole mess switchable through the effects loop and jump in and out if that, but wanted to get an idea if there's another way I'm missing before I get it all set up. Thanks!

* Setup a "clean" scene, and switch to it.
* Put the whole works in a bypass loop.
* Manually bypass the fx pedals by manually pressing their individual footswitches.

Just got the hub, but need some help with a couple of things:

I can't download the Hub Manager software: The zip file is blank. I've tried downloading it about six times (Windows version)

I'm trying to use my Eventide Pitchfactor as the Midi Controller-- my Eventide pedals are all chained together and "talk to each other" via midi. I was hoping the Hub would be as simple as inserting it into the midi chain, saving a scene per Eventide preset, but that doesn't seem to be working. :(

looking at Eventide manual you should be able to control the hub with Program Change transmit. You sould like you know what you 're doing, but:

-make sure midi channels are set right
-enable program change transmit
-map out program changes
-put hub right after controller, use thru to continue to other pedals
-test hub with save/recall button or another midi controller

Interestling....yes. I have not done it yet, but you can send the Hot Hand and/or expression pedal signals as midi CC's out if the hub. So in theory you can control the Whammy with your Hot Hand. Cool right

* Update the Hub firmware first.
* Connect each SB2 pedal to it's own Hub sensor output jack (don't daisy chain the SB2 pedals).
* Press the Scan button on the Hub, or the Get Attached Devices button in the software to cause the Hub to seek out the pedals.
* Then update each of the connected pedal's firmware one by one.
* Once again press the Scan button on the Hub, or the Get Attached Devices button in the software to cause the Hub to seek out the pedals.
* You should now be able to save scenes by sending the Hub a MIDI PC, setting your SB2 pedals like you want, then press-and-hold the Save button to save the setup to a scene.
* Send a different MIDI PC, repeat
* Now send the previous MIDI PC and see if it recalls all of the SB2 pedals settings correctly.

I only have one pedal connected at a time, nothing is daisy chained, and the pedals (both Hub and Soundblox 2) are using the supplied SA power supply, not a 1Spot or anything like that.
I updated the Hub software first. Pressing the scan button on the hub or "get attached devices" on the software does nothing-- all spaces show empty.
Again, only one pedal attached at a time, and the hub software has been updated.

It is setup that way, and in fact, with the hub in the midi chain the thru still works as my other pedals change with the program changes of the Pitchfactor. The hub is right after that main Pitchfactor.

Thanks gastric, and scotch. Figured as much.

If we're going to see a Hub v2 in the future that has its own integrated controller, I'll add to my wish list that it will have some sort of master bypass that would revert everything to a clean signal until the next scene is recalled. Effects loop will work fine though, thanks again.

I was actually less interested in using the hot hand with the whammy and more interested in using program changes to have the whammy on certain settings for certain scenes.
