The M9 can do auto save or manual
Save, and is not affected by the hub at all. It's all from whatever PC message it is sent. So my clean tone (PC 0) has all the the effects bypassed but set to certain effects already that I can click in and out. I have it set to auto save so if I click on a reverb, then switch to PC 2, the back to PC 0 it will remember the state of the reverb and have it engaged like I left it. If I alter the effect and change it to a delay, then change PC again, then back it will automatically remember the change won't having to do anything extra.
The manual save is a better choice for not accidentally changing something, but the auto save is much easier when programming presets.
