I'm eyeballs deep in Nemesis right now. So many sounds, so much character, and so much stuff that plays so well with bass. I was worried I wouldn't be using Nemesi' to the full potential but there's so much tastiness in there.

I haven't dug it up in the manual, but is there a way to extend down to the second set of engines on the rotary dial without having to use the app, a la Manta style?

Nemesis is the most complex thing we have created, by a mile. Keeping is simple, yet powerful and small, was very, very complicated. Jess, Bob, and Brett killed it!! Oh, yes, and Nathan made sure that TB crowd would be really happy too :)

We've finished a test version of the firmware updater and are doing a quick check with our beta testers to make sure everything is OK before releasing it. Should be available this week.

Hi everybody,

For those of you who have already picked up a Nemesis, thanks! We have been hard at work resolving a few small issues like fixing the MIDI Input Channel recognition and making changes to the Warped Vinyl engine to correct a parameter that was set incorrectly. We now have a firmware update available, which you can grab here on Dropbox.

The step-by-step guide to updating your Nemesis is available here on Dropbox.

This is a Windows updater. We are working on the Mac updater right now. Multi-platform development is hard! Bear with us. o_O

Just got my Nemesis a day earlier than expected... this thing is a gamechanger!! I've played with it for a few hours and I'm in love. My favorite settings stock are still the Noise Tape and Rhythmic settings but I'm sure that I will prefer the weirder Shifter and Helix settings once the Neuro app is released and I can tweak more variables. I'm also a huge fan of the Analog setting, which is anything but simple or bare bones - it totally nails the Memory Man it's modeled after, and one of my favorite new tricks is my EHX BMS through the analog setting and hearing the excellent note definition.

I'll add pictures later (I want to keep playing ;) ) to show how pretty this little beast is!

PS Thank you so much to the kind folks at Source Audio for including a little birthday message in my package. Your extremely patient and informative posts here on Talkbass coupled with your awesome demos definitely give me a great customer service experience. You've definitely sold me on at least checking out the Vertigo and Aftershock!
