It sounds like it's most likely a firmware issue. I suggest making sure that you're using HUB Manager 2.1, HUB firmware 1.15, and the latest firmware for each of your pedals. When using the HUB Manager, you have two-way communication, any change in parameters whether by knobs or in the editor are in real time. If you'd like the editor to reflect recent changes you've made on your pedal's knobs, select, "Read From Pedal."

The filter cutoff is CC #74, so I think the answer is yes, if you can set it to that in the Hub output.

It actually does sound cool to have different distortion engines on each channel. One more overdrive and one more fuzz.

I can confirm the Source Audio Reflex can do this on its own. I haven't personally tried a regular expression into the Hub for this.

Note the Future Impact is a little weird in its MIDI CC VCF frequency implementation. First, the starting frequency you've set in your Future Impact patch is CC74=64. If you heel down to 0 you're actually driving the filter frequency LOWER than your starting cutoff. So if you only want to sweep your starting frequency to something higher you need to set your MIDI CC74 output range to 64-127. Again, the Reflex allows you to control the range easily. And the Reflex has all sorts of fun LFO that the Future Impact does not.

When/if it happens, I think it would be cool to have a sub octave parameter added to the one series manta or filter pedal. The manta sounds meatier when I add an octave before it.

As a partial answer, this is what Roger Smith said a few days ago. A Nemesis-style pedal updating the Dimension Reverb is likely. A 1-Series manta is not likely to happen anytime soon.

Our company strategy is to make reasonably priced, high quality digital pedals. The only way to pull this off is selling more units than the boutique companies which are selling $250+ pedals. Yes, we need to have guitar players in our audience to make this happen. The OFD guitar version was not a success. LA Lady and Kingmaker have solved that! With Aftershock we are clearly as committed to the bass community as ever too. The Dimension is one of the best reverb pedals ever that did not sell well. We see this as an opportunity that a One Series version can unlock. Manta, on the other hand, has done very well.

So I just got my unit from CME, and it's a used unit. It's acting differently than my last one. When I scroll through the four presets, after I get past the forth, all the lights light up but one, then I have to hit the button several times for it to go to the next one. It also has stayed engaged somehow after I turn it off. The light goes back to (green I believe) but the unit still has delay happening. Very odd. That's not normal right? Should I contact them?

There are a few different modes you can enable via the App. The first instance sounds like the extended preset mode. If it helps, I'd use the app to factory reset the pedal and start from the beginning.

The first one is extended mode, 8 presets instead of four. The unlit led shows the current 5-8 preset. That's how I have mine although I don't use them, I like having them there.

The red/green LED with delay trails on bypass is Trails mode. That's how I have mine as well. That way I can cut the delay whenever and it fades out naturally. Although with this mode you can get in made trouble if it ever starts to self oscillate......

Both can be turned off in the app.

Operation Simplify has been accomplished. The tap tempo switch will be used to activate the extra preset mode on the Aftershock. The expression pedal is currently hooked into the Lunar. My little gear corner is now optimized for fun!

I don't think so, the hub can only pass midi threw it does not create messages or add anything to the midi stream

I love this small board. Would look even better with a One Series Pitch Shifting pedal and a One Series Envelope Filter pedal with all the Manta engines plus some classic engines (Mutron, Q Tron, Meatball, DOD, Chunk Systems, etc.).

ive always been rather disappointed by the mantas inability to emulate a realistic bassballs sound
