The one thing ya just can't get away from is the sound quality. That is augmented with deep editing control. No modeler can touch it.

Wiring is what it is, but once done (whenever that is) it's done. Personally, I'm not someone who could live in a tiny house. So, a 22" x 12" pedalboard, that is not completely packed, that my cell can sit on, is fine. (I'm also someone who has always been able to see my feet and am considering a mic stand mount for it, too.) There is some potential there.

In recently exploring the midi control aspect of the SA ecosystem and the HUB, caused some synapses to start firing...but SOLEMAN is just fine, too. I'm going to make an arrangement where I can have the SA Dual Expression Pedal on the board, as well, but with extended TRS cabeling to take it off and set it within a 4' radius.

I will say that with the SA proprietary utility communications, the UltraWave Bass, C4, Nemesis ADT, ZIO Bass Preamp and OPUS. There are no other pedals that are a necessity. Having a Boss RC-5 Stereo Looper is a bonus.

I did a bit of routing theory today and ordered two utility pedals to really make the most of flexibility and integration with the UltraWave Bass.

I decided to split the Bass signal with the EarthQuaker Devices Buffer Splitter. (Others could work just as well, but the B&W works!)

Sending to UWB #1 and to the Xotic X-Blender 🥣

Will route the loop send to the *One Control Crimson Red, to the *#2 UWB, out to the *Pigtronix Constellator BBD Analog Delay then to loop return. Will run in parallel with the wet/dry mix...the output to ZIO Bass Preamp.

This arrangement will allow a direct to ZIO from the Bass, and the (***) either full on or blended with dry signal depending on how the foot control mix knob is set.

I've been really scratchin' my gourd about this, but I'm expecting there to be some other benefits in being able to experiment with the UWB cascading channels feature in this configuration...

You can really see the HUB advantages for UWB..

In my own situation having the UltraWave Bass with the specific routing augmentations that will allow dry signal to always be present, the C4 receiving the UWB (that can have compression up front OR end of processing) with the SUPER NEMESIS ADT Delay in the C4 Synthesizer #2 Loop channel for Modulation and then C4 #1 output to the NEMESIS ADT #1 channel for Delay on the full synth signal.

A couple of really nice featurers of the Nemesis ADT is having uneffected signal with the delay line AND the Press-FREEZE-Hold function on the Delay line.

For myself as a Bass player having the OPUS-Broughton B/BA after the Nemesis ADT allows for 12 Reverbs. I do not have reverb on the ZIO Bass Preamp terminating dry (+/- analog) signal path. Using the 1/4" outputs of both the ZIO & OPUS into the Boss RC-5 Stereo Looper can benefit from a wet & dry signal in conjunction with the Freeze function from the Nemesis ADT!

Agree.
And I oddly enough dislike the darkglass 'thing' on that instrument (beats sequencer?) as much as I dislike it on bass!

I really love playing with the envelope and sensitivity settings on the Artifakt. 100% needs to be on the C4(2) as that would be insanely good to mess about with!

So here's a question:

Where would having the Artifakt in this signal chain be best as a Bass player...?

Nemesis ADT

I noticed that Artifact has none of the more flexible routing functions, it's basically I/O.

I think I'll keep listening to it, but I think the guitar or other instruments could benefit more substantially than Bass, but it does have some real good Bass game, too. It's a matter of how much game do I really think that I would get?

Seems overkill to buy the Artifakt just for the ladder filter, but I might just do that. Maybe I can use the vinyl effect somewhere in my band...

Has the USB-C connection issue been revolved? I remember reading about that somewhere. I use Neuro3 on my iPhone and MacBook Air, both USC-C.
