The Soundcheck feature on the latest version of the Neuro App is a game-changer! Well done!

A suggestion for a tweak: how about setting the app up so that when changing Soundcheck clips the default clip uses the same sound source (i.e "Motown Bass" or "Slap Bass" as was used to play the preceding preset clips. This would make is much easier and faster to A/B 2 different presets.

Thanks for this groundbreaking development in Pedal World!

Hello, Source Audio Insiders. Today is a big day here at Source Audio. At long last, we are opening [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] for use with every published preset available in the Neuro 3 app. It is, by far, the quickest and easiest way to dive into Source Audio effects pedals and explore their full tonal possibilities. Simply open your Neuro 3 app, go to the Community section, and hit the orange Play button for the preset you want to hear. If you’d like to listen to that preset with a different instrument or playing style, you can choose from our collection of unaffected guitar, bass, keyboard, or drum clips. When you find a preset that really speaks to you, don’t forget to hit the Like button and leave a comment to let the creator know what you think of their work!



Here is another great feature! If you’ve published any presets prior to the release of SoundCheck, you can go back to them and select a default clip. Simply go to the Published tab in the Cloud Presets section. Any preset that doesn’t yet have a default clip will include a button labeled Set Clip. Hit that button and choose the clip that best demonstrates your preset. You can also tweak the input level and decide whether to bypass or engage the Cab Simulator. Once you’re happy with your choice, hit Save, and rest assured that anyone who pushes the Play button will hear your preset at its best.

But this is not the end - not by a long shot. Next week, we’re planning to make SoundCheck available in the Neuro editors. That means you’ll be able to open the editor for any Source Audio pedal (whether you own the actual pedal or not) and create a brand-new preset. Simply open a pedal’s editor, select an instrument clip, and start editing. You’ll hear every parameter adjustment as it happens, in real-time.



That means you can create entirely new presets using only your phone or computer—and your imagination! We can’t wait to hear what you all do with this exciting new tool.

Once I've saved the default clip for one of my presets, is there any way to change the default? The output is quite low on one of mine so it reduces the volume when I engage the preset. I think there was a volume compensation that I'd like to tweak.

The HUB will use standard midi controllers as you can see Midi IN, Midi OUT and EXP IN.

I'm a Midiot so don't quote me in saying ALL midi controllers under the sun will work. I haven't heard of any 5 DIN connection midi controllers not working. Now, if midi clock is required, not all controllers have that feature.

What type do you have?
