OFD can definitely pull off VMT stuff. The TAFM is so versatile that it really depends on what you're doing with. You might be able to find something but I plan on keeping mine. You might get away with using the Gated fuzz in place of the oxide but that's another unique one. For me, the OFD covers those bread and butters tones. Really good versions of very common pedals. When you try to use it to replace something unique like the Oxide I think it will come up short.

mmmmmIdunno about Oxide replacement, it has a flavor of it's own though.

I'm a sucker for the Octave Fuzz. It stacks soooo well with anything else you throw at it. Beastly.

The OFD's definitely a keeper. The Tube Overdrive dialed in with my B3K staves off my Verellen Meatsmoke Pre wants. Really drivey with a nice warm sound. Very convincing. So many other epic sounds on here too

I'm definitely gonna get one at least to see if it can unseat my current dirt situation.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with the OFD. As an all in one dirt box I don't think there is anything that comes close. I got rid of my Oxide since I got it. I am getting the HUB when it's ready though. The Oxide is great and versatile but it can't do 12 different types of dirt as easily. You can utilize the OFD as a low gain OD, light distortion, high gain fuzz and even set it up to be a clean boost. I can't wait for the HUB.I have the Orbital, the Manta and the OFD and a HH3.

+1 On the OFD versatility. The hub will definitely be something to consider even if you only use it to store a bunch of OFD and Orbital presets.

All my dirt needs are covered but I was almost thinking of getting the OFD just for the octave fuzz! It sounds so damn sweet and rich.

My test unit looks like it can fit under my PT-1 if you can figure out how to get it all the way to the back edge where the space is maximized.

The trick will be how to deal with all of the cabling (MIDI cabling and TRS expression need to be accessible) which might prevent mounting it under there. And you'll need access to the buttons to physically program the Hub.

Here's a photo of mine just sitting on the floor underneath my PT-1. I've orientated it with the MIDI / EXP jacks facing forward, and the buttons facing upward so you can access them through the space in the board. This orientation will totally block access to the mini USB port used to update firmware and set MIDI I/O on the Hub. At least with my PT-1 which has a closed back to the board.

I think it'd require some cleverness to get it under there securely. But I have no doubt someone will figure out some great ways to do it.

I gave up trying to mount it underneath. Just so happens to be the same length as the dual expression pedal is wide and on a pt Jr or PT2 type board there is conveniently the perfect amount of depth to hold the hub and expression pedal in one line. I could fit a small tuner above the expression pedal instead, but otherwise keeping the hub on top isn't really costing much useful space.

I do with my 18v active bass, but not with my passive basses.

I have mine after the manta. I use a diamond bass comp. If I use a comp before my filter, it is always set very low.

first batch may be gone already. Thanks for the heads-up. not easy to find. I did see this and will now have to go home and figure out how this part works:

I'm pretty sure it's not for sale yet - they likely just have the page up so they can launch it quickly. I believe they have 200 ready to go, so it's not likely they are sold out without ever announcing them being available.
