Source Audio Sourcerers Society (S.A.S.S.) Pt 2

My Hub should be here Wednesday, looking forward to it. Good to see you guys at NAMM too — Roger was talking to someone when I came by but it was great to see all the pedals and express my fondness for your work.

I was looking out for a guy with a robot helmet, but never saw one? Really sorry not to connect. I trust the other guys did you right?

What are the dimensions of the Hub??

3.8 inches wide x 2.1 inches long x 1.4 Height

I came home from work and my HUB was sitting on my front porch!!! I've downloaded and printed the manual and I'm off to Bestbuy to get me a midi cable. Hopefully I'll be able to get this up and running and create some scenes tonight.

Now if I come home from work tomorrow and find my SubT waiting I'll be really stoked!!! I'll finally, theoretically at least, Have my setup completely transformed and done.

Good Times!!!

When did you get those? My company (audio-visual/sound) has been using monoprice audio cables exclusively for about 4 years (XLR and TRS mostly) with no issues. We probably have about 400-500 cables. I've got about 10 of their cables in my pedalboard/rack setup, also never had an issue. They are super thick / well shielded / gold connectors. I own the Monoprice midi cables as well for my band, we have about 15 or so between all of our gear. YMMV I guess.

Yeah I would write to them about it, they claim a lifetime warranty on their cables.

Edit: I just read two reviews on their website that claimed the audio cables were microphonic as well, so it's not just you. Monoprice replied to those reviews and offered to replace them free of charge. Worth a shot.

Now they have a new cable that they claim is noiseless for professional use: Invalid Link Removed
Not right angle.

So my HUB came with 3 pcs of SA160 daisy chain/sensor cables but I need 1 more. Their online store has one that is described as a "4 conductor 6 foot long cable for use when connecting multiple Source Audio Hot Hand products". Is this what I need? How can I get one that's the same size as the 3 that comes with it? I'm a little bummed but I'm sure Rsmith will offer up a reasonable solution. I'll just hook up the Manta, Orbital and the Dimension reverb tonight and hook up the OFD at some other time.

The included short cables, iirc, were not mentioned in the pre-order product description.
Hence I ordered some of the six footers to get started while intending to search online for compatible short ones that are a little more pedal board friendly insize and less bulk to tie off.

It seems as though the Hub Manager/Firmware Update Instructions are non existent. The link takes you back to the main Source Audio page. I'm a little frustrated since I can't get my HUB to function properly and I suspect that it has something to do with this. Maybe Rsmith601 will chime in with an update/instructions.

RSmith posted that before they shipped the HUB that it would receive a firmware update as I recollect. I just hope that with all the hype about storing/recalling scenes and the whole midi setup to get everything that was promised to us to be able to use these pedals to their fullest designed goals isn't going to be a cluster f@#k.

You guys are getting the very first units in the field, so this may take a bit of patience until we get it all down. We will get there. Don't worry!

First, the cables on our site are the same. If you got a hub and need an extra one, send me a PM.

Second, please see the new Hub page with manual and a link to the download section:
http://www.sourceaudio.net/products/toolblox/soundblox_hub_v1.php

Hope this helps. And, thank you for being patient as we nail down the roll-out!!

I'll be patient however please check out the link you provided. There isn't any HUB manager software available for download.
