I decimated my board awhile back to pick up a bass (GAS). So to replace the many pedals with fewer pedals I wanted to give SA a try. I have the OFD and the Orbital and I am not disappointed. Great price point and crazy versatility. I am confident the OFD can cover most of territory from the dirt pedals once covered my board....but:
What I think would be cool is to have a thread indicating settings of our SA pedals emulating a favorite setting of another pedal. For instance, I really loved the b3k/b7k overdrive tone and if I still had them I might be able to tweak the OFD to get a tone similar to a favorite setting on the b3k to preset in the OFD. I also really loved the polytope for chorus effect and wish I still had it just so I could emulate it on the orbital modulator. Anyway if anyone is interested in starting a thread like that and sharing, then let's do it. I would really appreciate someone coming up with OFD setting to really emulate that metallic sort of grind that the b3k dishes out.

Great idea! I have a feeling there will be many more threads created involving the Soundblox2 pedals, sound settings and midi implementation. The whole idea of the HUB has opened so many possibilities. I'm now thinking about how I can link SA HUB "scenes" with my voicelive2 pedal and a keyboard/sequencer for vocal harmonies. My understanding of midi is very limited and my head is spinning with info. I'm just trying to wrap my head around it!!! The effort will be worth it though. It'll be great to hit one button for vocal and bass effects!!!
There is already an OFD thread and people like johnk have been posting settings in a few threads. I agree that having a thread for just settings would be cool, sure is cool to have that for the zoom pedals.
This is especially true with the midi hub coming out since you'll be able to very easily store a bunch of settings.

At some point - but don't hold me to a date! - we will offer the ability to share a Hub "scene" electronically. This means that I can instantly post not only the electronic settings of one pedal, but all the SB2 pedals on a board so that another user can instantly recreate the same sound. With each of these pedals creating so many sounds, and then combinations of pedals taking this to an even crazier level of options, this feature is potentially very powerful for creating and sharing. The Hub opens many new doors.

So that's going to kinda be like TCE's Tone Print except on a grander scale and all of us will be the rock stars!
Is there any talk of a PC or iOS interface to control pedals through the HUB? Something along the lines the H9 control app from eventide, but for SA pedz? And rather than downloading algorithms you just connect the pedals you own an that's what you can control?

This is sort of what gadget junky is doing with his Hub and an iPAD. Perhaps G.J. can talk about his set up?
The short answer is yes, any program that can create MIDI control signals and send them over USB can work with the Hub and control the pedals. The Hub has a USB port.
Just got off the phone with Roger getting advice on his pedals. What a super nice guy!!! Thanks for your help!!

Ok, I didn't know if SA was planning to release their own software or not. I'll have to look into that midi designer app.
yep. That's midi and there are great apps for mac, pc, ios. You can control all the SB2 parameters and I recently found that with ipad+midi designer, you can turn as many knobs as you have fingers (multitouch) plus you can link multiple controls to a knob/slide to be controlled by Hot Hand or expression pedal or iphone accellerometer.
I've been swamped at my job lately and haven't been able to update demos with the fun stuff, but look back a dozen pages or so and you'll see my ipad interface. It controls every knob including the fx selector and all the options select knobs so you wouldn't have to cycle thru the options to get to parameters you want to change. BUT, it's only 1 way meaning the GUI knobs to not change to show you what a presets parameters are set to. You turn a knob and then you are linked and the pedals and GUI are synced.
Neat stuff and it's funny, I was reading this page, thinking about the multi-pedal share possibilities, then theres Roger post about that feature is coming soon. Pretty cool.
