hm...
MWBD-Temp.jpg

This was what I threw together in half an hour. I personally like it better, but I guess it's a matter of taste :)

There is something wrong with the alignment, but I can live with that for now. Also a higher contrast would be nice, I might add that later.

If anyone is interested in a high-res version, give me a shout.

Very cool! I'd like a hi res version

Nice templates! The ultimate way however would be some kind of web-thing, where you can enter your settings, name and save them and then be able to link to it later.
I though of this after seeing your interactive pictures on the site, look here:

http://www.sourceaudio.net/products/soundblox_pro/multiwave_distortion.php

there`s already mouse over effects. I know that this is not the fast way, but this would just rock my socks off. you know, being able to dial in the settings on a website like this, with graphic display.

If you`ve seen a character builder for a game like world of warcraft, you know what i mean: http://wowtal.com/#k=ZwpoSloJLo.bqj.mage.
This is a direct link to a complete (crappy) mage build. Having something like this for Source Audio Pedals would add a whole new dimension of community to the S.A.S.S.

I agree.

However there are a couple of problems with that:
- If all presets are shown on the source audio website, the place will fast become full of crappy presets, cluttering the space.
- It will take some time to write the code for it. It would be fast in Java, but for good reason, not many trust a Java applet on the net.
- It could potentially take up a lot of space.
- Maybe a Facebook app? But again, takes time to write.

Hi-res version done.
Vector art in a pdf.

I hope this is ok with you guys at SA? I did not include the logo, since I'm not you.
EDIT: And the font is not the correct one, for good reasons...

I am totally OK with this!! I will encourage Will to think about a place to house all of these images and comments. Facebook is a tempting place given the ease of sharing images and commenting.

Thanks ^^
The ultimate goal for me would of cause be Facebook applet.

-By the way, I didn't get an answer to the question about if HH morph was coming to the MWBD-Pro?
-And if it some day would be possible to upload presets via MIDI (or control all parameters via MIDI, including every band of the EQ and the distortion type).

The versatility of the Pro series (and probably the other pedals as well) call for way more than 6 presets. ;)

The new design of the HH3 allows it to be used for morphing on the MWBD Pro...you just plug it in via the expression jack.

As for the MIDI preset uploads, I'll leave it Roger to answer that one. I know that we have quite a few projects teed up before that though.

Thanks ^^

Jesse has been burried with Hot Hand 3, Hot Hand MIDI/USB, the guitar version of the BEF Pro, the SB2 BEF, and the Multimodulator. As such, special projects have been on the back burner. I suspect that we will not get to it any time soon. Very sorry about that!!

Aww... :( Well I already got the wired hot hand (one of the once you gave out, when the HH2 came into play. Thanks a bunch for that, regarded it mostly as a gimmick, until I tried it.) and I don't really have the funds to buy the HH3 (though it looks mighty fun, glad to read that it works with Line 6's pesky expression setup). Oh well... If it becomes urgent, I can always build a passive filter to stick in-between the HH and MWBD.

I guess that's all right. Looking forward to seeing the SB2 BEF!!

By the way; if you want me to make templates for some of the other pedals, send me a PM with the font you use for the manuals, and I can slam something together in my spare time :)

Thank you, Skrogh. When we sent our the wired Hot Hand I wondered if they were getting used or (kringe) thrown in the trash. I think many are being used, which is very cool.

Will investigated some ways of easy sharing of settings and it looks like Facebook is going to be the most effective. We not need to get it set up and tested. Stay tuned!

The Soundblox 2 does not have 6 presets to work with, it has 2. You could tweak the Tone Knob to get essentially the same results that you would out of the graphic EQ on the Pro series, but it will be a bit more challenging. Soundblox 2 WILL have MIDI compatibility but not until we release the necessary adapter. Also, you can only use an expression pedal with the Soundblox 2 if you have our Dual Expression pedal.

what makes it only work with y'all's expression pedal?

will it still have the Source Ring input as well?

the Pro's more than i really use and the lack of presets on the 1 skeers me a bit so i'm really looking forward to the 2. is there an eta?

thanks!

gotcha! yeah, i'd probably just run the guy as a wub wub machine. that's pretty much all i use the Pro for. i feel like it's just a bit big (the shapes kinda awkward board space wise) for an effect that i ADORE, but only use occasionally.

hurm. just realized that i use OD and Fuzz the most, and they're the smallest things on my board. INTERESTING.

thanks for the quick answers!

So no hothand support?

hmm... I was really hoping to get the soundblox 2 MWBD, but I'm looking for some gritty wubwubs...
the pro might be a better option, then I guess.

Made the 'mistake' of lending my Dimension Reverb to my bandmate/guitarist in Sixpence. It's become integral to his sound. (He's got one with a dual exp pedal so I can have mine back.) Just built a pedalboard for another Nashville customer - another Dimension Reverb on order!

Great sounding, inspiring pedal! Way to go, Source'!

Now, can't wait to get mine back, lol!
